About New Leaf
Founded in 2017, New Leaf Environmental (NLE)was created to provide high quality environmental consulting services with individual expert attention for the South Florida development community.
NLE is managed by Katherine “Kaya” McCoy, who keeps all of our contracts, files and budgets in order and the company running like it should!
Providing technical support for our projects are Michael McCoy and David DeLoach. David is a Board Certified Master Arborist with experience working for municipalities including the City of Miami’s tree permitting program, as well as experience performing tree trimming and production of nursery stock. Michael is also a Board Certified Master Arborist with experience providing environmental expertise to a wide variety of South Florida Municipalities. Michael also provides support for NLE’s marine services, which include surveying and permitting for corals and seagrasses.
